 Many of you
may remember our classmate Gary Cieslak – one of those unique individuals whom
UD attracts: brilliant, an excellent actor, an accomplished pianist, an
extraordinary friend. Gary
was the valedictorian of the Class of 1980.
We would
like to honor his memory by establishing a scholarship in his name for worthy,
financially needy pre-med students – those whose vision of service is akin to
our friend’s. We believe his experience at UD helped to shape and nurture the
qualities that made Gary
so special to so many.
