ALUMNI RELATIONS AND ANNUAL GIVING
Erin Dougherty earned a bachelor's degree in literary studies with a minor in neuroscience and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). She has served as the UD's executive director of alumni relations and annual giving since August 2015. She has worked in higher education alumni relations for more than a decade, and her prior experience includes serving as senior director of alumni relations and annual giving at the UTD.

Larisa (Chavez) Thelen, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from UD in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in art history and a concentration in Spanish. As assistant director of alumni events, Larisa manages local and regional events for alumni across all colleges at the university. She also works to promote the Haggerty Art Village and gallery space for students, alumni and visitors.
Prior to returning to UD to work, Larisa interned at the Vatican Museums' Patrons of the Arts office in Rome, Italy, where she was involved in fundraising efforts for the Museums and served as liaison to visiting benefactors. Once back in the U.S., Larisa worked with the Southern Methodist University Meadows Museum Curatorial Department to complete an exhibit by Spanish impressionist Joaquin Sorolla.
Larisa is an active volunteer at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas.

ALUMNI RELATIONS OFFICER
Rob Beuerlein works in the Alumni Relations office, handling communications. His duties as an alumni relations officer for communications include creating newsletters, invitations, social media campaigns, website management, photography, videography and feature articles among other assignments
Rob has worked in university communications for over 11 years. He began during his time as a student at TCU where he graduated in 2008. He then went on to do internships at Creighton University and SMU. He has also worked for Texas State (2010-15) and most recently Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, MI (2015-August, 2017). During his career Rob has been in charge of event planning, media relations both on a local and national level, creating publications, social media planning, website management and coming up with new ways to bring unknown stories to light. He obtained his undergraduate degree in from TCU in 2008. He earned his masters degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University in 2015.
Rob has a dog Sadie (dachshund) and lives in Euless.
