As an alumnus of the University of Dallas, a variety of benefits and services are available to you. Most of these are available directly through the University of Dallas, but the National Alumni Board also works with affinity groups to provide other benefits to the alumni community. September is Life Insurance Awareness Month and we want you to know that you have access to insurance products through The Alumni Insurance Program.
Buddy ‘Cake Boss’ Valastro is this year’s spokesperson for Life Insurance Awareness Month. Buddy is best known for orchestrating confectionary master pieces. However, before his success he worked 12-18 hour days at the family bakery following his father’s untimely death. Hear Buddy’s story and learn from his life experiences at The Alumni Insurance Program web site. www.TheAIP.com/LIAM.
You can find a full list of programs available to you as an alumnus/a of the University of Dallas online. Other than life insurance, you can purchase car, home, renter’s, heath, travel, and long-term care insurance. By purchasing insurance through any one of these plans, you help out UD students in addition to yourself. Throughout the year, the University of Dallas is sent part of the proceeds of sales from these programs. All of the money received, is used to fund two scholarships awarded by the National Alumni Board: the National Alumni Board Rome Scholarship and the National Alumni Board Legacy Scholarship. These scholarships serve to help students financially when the experiences of Rome and UD might otherwise be out of reach.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these programs, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
