FEATURED ALUMNI: UNBINDING PROMETHEUS PANELISTS

Three young, entrepreneurial alumni will speak this Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. for the “Unbinding Prometheus: Maker Movement & Sharing Economy” panel with guest speaker Adam Greene in the Multipurpose Room in SB Hall.

Daniel A. Ezekiel Balan graduated from the University of Dallas in 1999 with a B.A. in art with a sculpture focus. He married his UD sweetheart (Margaret Haine, B.A. ’01) in 2003 after returning safely from Afghanistan where he served as a US Army Interrogator. He currently works as an architect in New York City while trying to maintain a professional art practice and an active family life.

Alejandra Hernandez is a young Latina with roots in the Valley Central of Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently, she serves as the lead project coordinator in the Environmental Health Department at 16th Street Community Health Centers in Milwaukee, Wis. Her sister Melissa Hernandez graduated from the University of Dallas in 2016 with a degree in Politics and a concentration in Spanish.
