Larisa (Chavez) Thelen, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from UD in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in art history and a concentration in Spanish. As assistant director of alumni events, Larisa manages local and regional events for alumni across all colleges at the university. She also works to promote the Haggerty Art Village and gallery space for students, alumni and visitors.
Prior to returning to UD to work, Larisa interned at the Vatican Museums' Patrons of the Arts office in Rome, Italy, where she was involved in fundraising efforts for the Museums and served as liaison to visiting benefactors. Once back in the U.S., Larisa worked with the Southern Methodist University Meadows Museum Curatorial Department to complete an exhibit by Spanish impressionist Joaquin Sorolla.
Larisa is an active volunteer at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas.

Clare Rindone was born in Irving, Texas but grew up in Omaha and later on in Milwaukee. She graduated in 2012 from UD with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. She then went on to teach fourth grade in Phoenix for two years at the Great Hearts Academies and then fifth grade in Irving at the Highlands School before returning home to UD in 2015.
Clare was part of the Advancement Services team in the Office of Advancement before moving into her current role as Advancement Officer for Alumni Relations. She helps oversee alumni events and works to engage alumni from all colleges within the university through handling communications ranging from volunteer coordination and recruiting to serving as the primary contact for alumni inquiries about UD news and updates.
Clare loves training for races and enjoys camping all over the country!
